Two people were killed and 17 others were injured as a result of Russian shelling of Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, Report informs.
Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said two children were among those injured.
“In Pavlohrad, two people were killed and 16 others were injured as a result of a morning strike. Three people remain in hospital in moderate condition. The rest, including children aged from 1 to 13, will receive outpatient treatment. In the Nikopol district, an 81-year-old woman was injured. She will also receive outpatient treatment,” he said.

Turks, like Greeks, are equal owners of Cyprus, and Cyprus will never be a Greek island, Turkish Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz said, Report informs.
Yılmaz made the remarks during an event held in Lefkosa (North Nicosia), the capital of Northern Cyprus, on the 52nd anniversary of the Cyprus Peace Operation.
“The international community must recognize that Turkish Cypriots, like Greeks, are equal owners of these lands. Cyprus will never be a Greek island,” he said.
Yılmaz stressed that Türkiye would continue supporting Northern Cyprus.
“No initiative that excludes Türkiye or ignores the rights of Turkish Cypriots and our legitimate interests in the Eastern Mediterranean can succeed,” he said.
