Two killed, 11 injured in mine explosions in Azerbaijan in 1H2026

During the first half of 2026, explosions from landmines and unexploded ordnance claimed the lives of two people in Azerbaijan as a result of Armenia’s mine terror.

According to Report, this was highlighted at the extended collegium meeting held in the prosecutorial bodies of the Republic of Azerbaijan, reviewing the results of work carried out in the first half of the year.

It was reported that during the same period, 11 people sustained injuries of varying severity.

It was emphasized that since November 2020, a total of 430 individuals have become victims of landmine terror: 73 killed and 357 injured to different degrees.
