Protesters gathered outside RAF Fairford, a British airbase that regularly hosts U.S. strategic bombers, to oppose its reported use in U.S. strikes against Iran.
The demonstration followed a warning from Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps against allowing U.S. bombers to operate from British bases.
The UK government has reaffirmed that U.S. forces may use British military facilities in support of what it describes as the region’s collective self-defence.
