Yemen’s Ansar Allah movement (Houthis) has attacked the city of Jizan in southern Saudi Arabia, according to the group’s social media posts, Report informs via The Times of Israel.
It was noted that Saudi Arabia earlier issued brief warnings to residents in Jizan and Yanbu after the rebels vowed to retaliate against the kingdom for attacks this week.
Earlier, Saudi Arabia launched overnight strikes on Houthi military facilities in Yemen, in retaliation for the group’s recent attacks on Saudi tankers.
