Rare protests broke out in Ukraine after President Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s decision to dismiss Defence Minister Mykhailo Fedorov as part of a government reshuffle.
More than 1,000 people gathered outside the presidential office in Kyiv, chanting “Shame!” and calling for Fedorov’s return, while demonstrations were also reported in several other cities.
Zelenskyy said he is still considering who will replace Fedorov, with Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko among the candidates under discussion.
