Footage shows U.S. strikes targeting Bandar Abbas and Qeshm Island in Iran.
According to a U.S. official, the strikes targeted Iranian air defense systems, coastal surveillance sites, surface-to-air missiles, anti-ship cruise missiles and drone launch sites.
The operation, announced by U.S. Central Command, was carried out in response to Iranian attacks on three commercial vessels transiting the Strait of Hormuz.
