Archbishop Bagrat Galstanyan has won a court case against Aram Sargsyan’s Republic Party representatives, Ani Khachatryan & Hayk Sahakyan, who made a number of insulting and defamatory statements about Archbishop Bagrat during a YouTube program in June 2025.
The Court of 1st Instance of Yerevan partially granted Archbishop Bagrat’s lawsuit, ordering Ani Khachatryan & Hayk Sahakyan to pay him 750K drams each, of which 300K drams are compensation for insult and 450K drams are fines for defamation.
