Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov had a telephone conversation Monday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba, according to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting AzerTac.
During the telephone conversation, discussions revolved around the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Ukraine in various domains, including transport, energy and humanitarian areas.
The FMs hailed the current level of strategic partnership between the two countries.
The ministers noted that the relations between the two countries and peoples, based on historical foundations, are steadily developing in accordance with the norms and principles of international law, including respect for territorial integrity and sovereignty.
FM Dmytro Kuleba emphasized the importance of the humanitarian assistance provided by Azerbaijan to Ukraine and expressed their gratitude for that.
During the conversation, the two also exchanged views on other issues of bilateral and regional cooperation of mutual interest.
