Corsica’s push for greater autonomy within the French Republic faces a key test in the Senate. A committee will begin reviewing the constitutional reform on 21 October, ahead of plenary debates. Muriel Jourda, head of the Senate’s Law Commission and the bill’s rapporteur, is visiting the island to meet local representatives.
