Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces said their drone units struck 14 Russian vessels in the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov during overnight operations on July 12.
According to a statement posted on the force’s Telegram channel, operators from the 9th Battalion “Kairos” of the 414th Separate Brigade “Birds of Magyar,” the 1st Separate Center, and the 412th Nemesis Brigade hit 10 tankers in the Sea of Azov.
The statement added that operators from the 1st Separate Center also struck a ferry in the Sea of Azov, while personnel from the 413th Separate Regiment “Raid” targeted three ferries near Kerch in occupied Crimea.
The Unmanned Systems Forces further claimed that their units struck a total of 90 vessels belonging to Russia’s shadow fleet between July 6 and July 13.
The claims have not been independently verified, and there has been no immediate comment from Russian authorities.
