“On October 4, 2016, McGonigal was appointed “Special Agent in Charge of the Counterintelligence Division for the New York Field Office” by James B. Comey. McGonigal was an expert on Russian intelligence activities targeting the United States, as well as U.S. efforts to recruit Russian spies.”
This was after the Trump – Netanyahu meeting on September 26, 2016, following the publication of the article citing the information from Anthony Weiner’s 15 y.o. “sexting partner” on September 21, 2016, that opened the road to the October Surprise 2016, which was the subject and the part of the bargain between Trump and Netanyahu.

McGonigal was in the position, among many other things, to adjust the timing of his report to Comey and other FBI leaders regarding his findings on the laptop, etc., and therefore the timing of the October Surprise 2016 mechanism, starting with the Comey’s October 28 Letter, with the dates chosen to produce the most optimal and maximal effect for the conspirators, Trump and Netanyahu.
A number of questions arise in this regard, and the information from McGonigal on this subject would be quite valuable.
