Gaza’s Hamas-run Interior Ministry said an Israeli airstrike in Deir al-Balah killed Wael Mousa al-Ladawi, the head of its Internal Security Directorate, and another officer, Ramez Tawfiq Abu Zureiq.
The Israeli military said it had targeted a Hamas militant but provided no further details.
