New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani says residents are “in a real sense of fear” over Immigration and Customs Enforcement operations across the city.
Speaking on Wednesday, Mamdani said he had ordered a full review of the city’s response to last week’s shooting involving ICE agents and a vehicle carrying a five-year-old child. The review will also examine subsequent protests and ICE’s use of privately owned parking lots and staging locations.
