Saudi Arabia’s energy giant Aramco has completed a deal to acquire a 49 per cent stake in Saudi AI company HUMAIN, as the Kingdom expands its investment in artificial intelligence.
Aramco says it will contribute approximately $2.6 billion in cash in 2026 and transfer key AI assets, while Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF) retains a 51 per cent stake.
The deal supports HUMAIN’s plans to develop 3 gigawatts of AI data centre capacity by 2030, serving growing regional and global demand for AI computing.
