Azerbaijani students will soon have the opportunity to participate in an intensive pharmacy training program at the University of Pécs in Hungary, Azernews reports, citing András Fittler, Associate Professor at the University’s Department of Pharmacy, as he said during an international conference in Baku on “Azerbaijan’s Pharmaceutical Industry: Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow”.

In recent years, Azerbaijan has made notable strides in reforming and modernizing its agricultural sector. Amid these efforts, a new pilot project focusing on the financing of modern irrigation systems has emerged as a key initiative, bringing together financial institutions and state agencies to tackle the challenges faced by the country’s agricultural sector.

As of the end of March this year, loans granted to large business entities in Azerbaijan totaled 8.361 billion manat, an increase of 64 million manat or 0.8% from the start of the year, Azernews reports, citing the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA).
