The US military carried out a strike on an LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) tanker attempting to enter the region from the Gulf of Oman, Report informs, citing Mehr news agency.
It was reported that two crew members were killed as a result of the strike.
The US took this step believing the tanker was carrying Iranian gas, according to the information.
