Azerbaijan’s Greco-Roman wrestler Emin Bakhshaliyev suffered a defeat at the U17 Wrestling World Championship in Baku, Report informs.
Competing in the 110 kg category, Bakhshaliyev faced Andrej Simic of Serbia in the qualification round. The match ended with a 4:3 victory for the Serbian wrestler.
The U17 Wrestling World Championships are being held at the National Gymnastics Arena, bringing together nearly 700 young wrestlers from over 60 countries. Azerbaijan is being represented by a total of 29 athletes at the tournament.
