Spain have defeated Belgium in the FIFA World Cup quarterfinals, Report informs.
The team coached by Luis de la Fuente claimed a 2-1 victory in the match held at Los Angeles Stadium.
Fabian Ruiz opened the scoring for Spain in the 30th minute, while Charles De Ketelaere equalized for Belgium with a header in the 41st minute.
Mikel Merino scored Spain’s winning goal in the 88th minute.
The match was refereed by English FIFA referee Michael Oliver.
Spain will face France in the semifinals.
