The visit of participants of the 4th Shusha Global Media Forum to Karabakh has begun, Report informs.
Forum participants arrived at the Fuzuli International Airport by plane.
The forum, to be held in Shusha on July 13-14, will be dedicated to the topic “The Mission of Media in Promoting Peace: Restoring Truth and Rebuilding Trust.” Nearly 160 media representatives, experts, and officials from 54 countries around the world will participate in the event. At the same time, about 30 international news agencies and more than 60 leading media organizations will be represented at the forum. Representatives of about 10 international organizations and companies will also join the forum.
In addition, within the framework of the forum, panel discussions, one-on-one meetings, and interactive sessions will be organized around such current topics as the role of media in peacebuilding, cross-border media dialogue and restoration of public trust, international cooperation in combating disinformation, creating a safe information environment on digital platforms, media ethics in the era of artificial intelligence, and responsible journalism.
The event aims to contribute to taking practical steps toward restoring shattered trust between societies, strengthening digital solidarity, and ensuring peace by highlighting the importance of responsible behavior in media.
