Neftchi lost to Dinamo Minsk in the first leg of the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League, Report informs.
The match was played at Palms Sports Arena in Baku.
The Black and Whites were defeated 4-2 by the Belarusian team.
Neftchi captain Emin Mahmudov opened the scoring in the 2nd minute. In the 8th minute, Dinamo’s Alexander Selyava scored an own goal.
For the Minsk side, Karen Vardanyan scored in the 36th and 57th minutes, Yevgeny Malashevich struck in the 47th minute, and Gulzhigit Alykulov added another goal in the 77th minute.
The return leg will be played on July 30. The winner of the tie will face the stronger side from the Železničar (Serbia) vs Braga (Portugal) pairing in the next round.
