Tbilisi: A book presentation of book “EU politics” was held recently. This was held under the book translation program 2023.
The event was attended by many academics and experts from across globe as well. The event was opened by the Director of the Project Management Department of Caucasus University namely Akaki Kapanadze. He was accompanied many other educational experts also.
The official Facebook page university also shared this information. The other social media handles of university also shared glimpse of this event as well.
As per the official Facebook page, “At CU, within the framework of the Book Translation Program 2023, a presentation of the funded book – EU Politics – was held, which was attended by academic and administrative staff of various universities.”
At the same time this also stated that, “The presentation was opened by Akaki Kapanadze, Director of the Project Management Department of Caucasus University, who spoke about the activities and plans implemented within the framework of the book translation program.”
It is worth to mention that in the second part, the translator of the book, Ms. Khatuna Basilashvili, spoke directly about the content and value of the book, considering the context. As per the author of book the main goal of the project was to increase financial and physical access to the latest research and textbooks for Georgian students, researchers, and the interested public.
The project is implemented with the support of the US Embassy. The book has also gain relevance as large scale protest erupted in Georgia due to decisions of the Georgian dream to suspend talks in European Union also. The protestors participating in these rallies blame Georgian Dream to derail process to enter European Union as well.
The other key speaker familiar with book also appreciated the work of author. According to them readers will get opportunity to have better understanding on the future of Georgia within European Union.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Türkiye has shared a post on its X account regarding the 35th anniversary of the 20 January tragedy, according to Azerbaijan in Focus, reporting AzerTac.
The post says: “We commemorate with respect and reverence the memory of the heroes of the brotherly Azerbaijan who died for the country’s independence on January 20, 1990.”
