Azerbaijani Deposit Insurance Fund’s investment portfolio grows almost threefold

The investment portfolio of the Azerbaijani Deposit Insurance Fund reached 119.6 million manats at the end of June this year, almost three times higher than in 2022.

According to a Report correspondent in Shamakhi, Sevinj Salimova, a representative of the Deposit Insurance Fund’s public relations department, made the remark at a forum marking National Press Day.

According to her, in the fourth quarter of 2022, the Fund’s investment portfolio amounted to 42.9 million manats (30 million manats in government bonds and 12.9 million manats in US Treasury notes and bills).

Salimova noted that as of July 1 of this year, 62% of the investment portfolio was in Azerbaijani manats, 31% in US dollars, and 7% in euros.
