Azerbaijan, World Bank discuss cooperation in digital transformation

Azerbaijan and the World Bank have discussed cooperation in digital transformation, the development of artificial intelligence-based infrastructure, data centers and the Government Cloud, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

The discussions took place during a meeting between Deputy Minister Rashad Hasanov and Sasha Bakes, World Bank Group Country Manager for Azerbaijan.

The meeting focused on opportunities for cooperation in priority areas identified under the 2026-2028 Action Plan for Accelerating Digital Development in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

The sides also exchanged views on potential World Bank support for training cybersecurity specialists and developing a workforce with digital skills.
