Work is underway in a number of European countries to introduce the DOST model, Azerbaijan’s single-window public social services model, Farid Mammadov, chairman of the Board of the DOST Agency, told journalists, Report informs.
According to him, assessments based on the DOST index are currently being carried out in ten cities of Moldova. In addition to Moldova, similar work is also underway in Uzbekistan.
Mammadov also said the first project to introduce a single-window model based on the DOST concept has begun in Zagreb, Croatia.
“We have already launched this work in Croatia. We have been carrying out similar activities in Romania for some time, providing technical support to our colleagues. In addition, we have established similar cooperation in Serbia and are exchanging experience with various state institutions working in the social sphere,” he said.
The chairman of the Board noted that African countries are also showing interest in the DOST model.
“Active exchange of experience has been established with Ethiopia on inclusive development and innovation in the social sphere,” the agency head concluded.
