A protocol was signed between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan, which envisages strengthening partnership in economic and trade, energy, transport, agriculture, food security, environmental protection, water management and other priority areas, Azerbaijani Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said on X, Report informs.
“During our working visit to Turkmenistan, we participated in the 9th meeting of the Azerbaijan–Turkmenistan Joint Intergovernmental Commission together with Nokerguly Atagulyyev, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan and Co-Chair of the Commission,” Jabbarov wrote.
The sides highlighted the initiative to establish the Azerbaijan–Turkmenistan Business Council as an important platform for expanding economic cooperation, strengthening business ties, and diversifying export opportunities between our countries, according to the minister.
“Following the meeting, we signed a protocol providing for strengthened partnership in trade and economy, energy, transport, agriculture, food security, environmental protection, water management, and other priority areas,” Jabbarov concluded.
