Adjara Officials Review Shuakhevi Infrastructure Projects

The delegate of Shuakhevi in ​​the High Council of Adjara – Friedon Putkaradze, Chairman of the Government of the Autonomous Republic – Zurab Pataridze, Minister of Finance and Economy – Ednar Nataridze got acquainted with infrastructure projects in Shuakhevi Municipality.
The Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara shared the glimpses of the ongoing projects on its official Facebook Page on July 26, 2026, Sunday. A small note about the projects was also shated along with its photographs.
According to the small note shared by the Supreme Council of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara, it should be noted that the Representatives of the government inspected the ongoing works in villages – Khichauri and Gomarduli.
The administrative center in Khichauri is being improved, the road and municipal infrastructure will be completely repaired. The project includes the rehabilitation of the yards and squares of multi-apartment residential buildings, the arrangement of asphalt-concrete pavement, retaining walls, decorative lighting and underground communications.
New cottages are being built and tourist infrastructure is being built in Gomarduli, which has great tourist potential. The construction of the administrative building of modern standards, which will house the trustee’s office, medical center and multi-purpose hall, has already been completed here. ‘
The project envisages an adapted environment for people with disabilities, as well as the facilities of the surrounding area – there will be rest and children’s areas, panchatories, walking paths, a kissing area, outdoor lighting will be installed and the area will be green. New projects are being implemented in Khichauri, Chvana and Gomsi.
Also present in Shuakhevi Municipality were: Member of the Parliament of Georgia – Anzor Bolkvadze, , Mayor of Shuakhevi – Omar Takidze, Head of the Adjara Roads Department – Zaza Shavadze and representatives of local self-government.
