The U.S. State Department has announced a reward of up to $20 million for information about Iran’s nuclear facilities, equipment and personnel, with possible relocation offered to those who provide details.
The announcement comes amid an ongoing conflict between Washington and Tehran. Iran maintains that its nuclear programme is peaceful and denies any intention of developing nuclear weapons. Meanwhile, the U.S. military has announced plans to establish a task force aimed at restricting the movement of Iranian weapons and sanctioned materials across the country’s borders.
Both sides remain in indirect talks through Qatari and Pakistani intermediaries.
