European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen said on X that the EU is bringing Armenia closer to the bloc while working towards a peaceful, prosperous South Caucasus. She said the EU is supporting connectivity with a €200 million ($227.6 million) package for roads and bridges and strengthening energy security.
