Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian cut short his visit to Iraq and left for Iran after U.S. strikes hit southern parts of the country, according to Iranian state television. Pezeshkian had been in Najaf for an official reception for the coffin of slain Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
