Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andrii Sybiha met with EU foreign policy chief Kaja Kallas in Ankara, Report informs, citing Sybiha’s post on X.
Sybiha said he informed Kallas about the latest Russian attacks and their consequences. The sides also discussed steps to increase pressure on Moscow.
The Ukrainian foreign minister emphasized the critical importance of strengthening Ukraine’s air defenses and protection against ballistic threats.
He also briefed the EU high representative on peace efforts and Europe’s role.
Sybiha said the meeting also covered Ukraine’s EU accession and the opening of the next negotiation clusters.
He thanked Kallas and the European Union for their strong support for Ukraine.
