Sabah players say the team must learn from its 4-1 defeat to Viking in the UEFA Champions League, while pointing to key moments that shaped the match.
Forward Christian Nwachukwu said the long journey from Baku to Norway had made preparations challenging, describing Viking as a strong opponent.
Defender Timotheusz Puchacz said Sabah had competed well but was punished by moments such as the penalty and the red card that left the Azerbaijani side playing with 10 men.
Midfielder Umarali Rahmonaliyev said the team would review its performance, improve defensively and work on converting more of its chances.
Aymen Zedadka added that Sabah had created opportunities and enjoyed possession, but were frustrated by conceding from set-pieces, a penalty and other situations.
Sabah will next face Barcelona at Baku Olympic Stadium on 25 November.
