Uganda has introduced a 21-day quarantine for returning citizens with a history of travel to the Democratic Republic of Congo as it strengthens Ebola prevention measures. Health officials said Uganda remains Ebola-free while investigating a Nigerian case involving a woman who had travelled from Uganda.
Authorities have intensified screening at Entebbe International Airport and land border crossings, requiring travellers entering by air, land or water to complete passenger locator forms.
