U.S. President Donald Trump has said that Saudi Arabia may be closer than ever to joining the Abraham Accords. Speaking to reporters outside the White House, he backed Israel’s offer to help Riyadh against the Houthis and said he was confident the kingdom would accept it. Riyadh has not announced any new talks on normalising ties with Israel or accepting its help in the fight against the Iran-backed Houthi group.
