Addressing U.S. military assistance to 🇦🇿, he noted that American law—under Section 907—restricts such support to Baku, although the president may waive these restrictions annually. Jinbashian said the letter to Rubio is intended to reiterate these legal provisions and urge him not to allow them to be bypassed.
“The letter has already reached Rubio’s office, & we are now awaiting a response. It is important that he make the right decision based on what is actually happening,” the ANCA representative said.
