The Television Academy has announced the nominees for the 78th Emmy Awards, the highest honor recognizing excellence in television and widely regarded as the TV equivalent of the Academy Awards.
Among the nominees are four professionals of Armenian descent:
🔹 Peggy Tachdjian — Outstanding Picture Editing for a Comedy Series for Hacks.
🔹 Louis Zakarian — Outstanding Makeup for the variety show Saturday Night Live.
🔹 Kim Kachugian — Outstanding Production Design for Saturday Night Live.
🔹 Razmik Karakashian — Outstanding Picture Editing for a Reality Competition Program for Survivor.
This year’s leading Emmy nominees are the television series The Pitt, Hacks, & The Widows’ Bay.
The 78th Emmy Awards ceremony will take place on September 14 at the Peacock Theater in LA.
