Armenia’s Investigative Committee is conducting searches at the homes of Samvel Karapetyan, head of the Tashir Group of Companies and chairman of the opposition Strong Armenia Party, and his nephew, Narek Karapetyan, a member of parliament and leader of the Strong Armenia parliamentary faction.

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has handed over 5,000 carcasses of sacrificial animals to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan within the sacrificial meat distribution program, Saudi Ambassador to Azerbaijan Essam bin Saleh Al-Jutaili told journalists, Report informs.
According to him, the ministry responsible for providing social assistance has lists of the most needy citizens, which will ensure the targeted distribution of the aid.
“This initiative confirms the close social ties between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and all Islamic countries, including Azerbaijan, and strengthens the sense of Islamic brotherhood around the world,” the ambassador noted.
Essam bin Saleh Al-Jutaili emphasized that the program reflects the desire of the Kingdom’s leadership to support Muslims throughout the Islamic world.
The ambassador expressed gratitude to the Azerbaijani side for its cooperation and assistance in implementing the program.
