South Korea’s Samsung Heavy Industries has signed a contract worth 721.1 billion won (approximately $499 million) to build two liquefied natural gas (LNG) carriers for a shipowner from the Oceania region.

An increase in cyber fraud cases has been observed during the holiday period, with criminals attempting to obtain bank card and personal data from customers through deceptive calls and messages, Azernews reports, citing Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Internal Affairs.

In January–November last year, Azerbaijan produced 15.7 billion cigarettes and cigars, Azernews reports, citing the State Statistics Committee.
