On May 16, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev held a meeting in Tirana with President of the European Council António Costa and President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen, Azernews reports.

The reconstruction of the Muğanlı–İsmayıllı–Qabala section of the Baku–Shamakhi–Muğanlı–İsmayıllı–Qabala highway is currently in progress. This route represents the shortest and most direct road connection between the capital, Baku, and the districts of Ismayilli, Qabala, Oghuz, Shaki, Gakh, Zagatala, and Balakan.

The price of Azerbaijan’s “Azeri Light” crude oil has declined at Italy’s Augusta port. Based on the CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight) basis, the price fell by $1.70, or 2.49%, compared to the previous rate, settling at $66.65 per barrel, Azernews reports.
