Trump has imposed a “baseline” tariff on all imports to the United States, including from Armenia. That rate is set at 10% and will go into effect on April 5.
Further additional tariffs will be applied for each country. In particular, goods from the European Union will rise in price by 20%. The highest tariffs are for Cambodia (49 percent), Vietnam (46), Thailand (36), China (34), Taiwan (32) and South Africa (30). Russia is absent from this list.
In addition, the US president confirmed the introduction of a new “25% tariff on all foreign made-automobiles”.11:20
