On the night of May 9, Mediachecker, a media analysis platform, reported, citing its sources, that Zurab Balanchivadze, Natia Orvelashvili, and Ekaterine Amirejibi, the morning and entertainment show hosts of the pro-government Imedi TV channel, had quit their jobs. There are also reports that other two other TV presenters have also left Imedi TV, although the information about that has yet to be confirmed.
As the tensions deepen and demonstrations against the Russia-style Foreign Agents’ law continue, now accompanied by the orchestrated terror campaign against the activists, opposition and civil society representatives, the channel is often accused of highly biased coverage of recent events and spreading misinformation.

Əvvəlcə xalqımızın Ümummilli Lideri Heydər Əliyevin və ölkəmizin ərazi bütövlüyü uğrunda həlak olan şəhidlərimizin xatirəsi bir dəqiqəlik sükutla yad edilib. Azərbaycan Respublikasının Dövlət Himni səsləndirilib.
Gənc əsgərlər təntənəli surətdə Hərbi andı qəbul edərək Vətənə sadiq olacaqlarına söz veriblər.
Tədbirlərdə çıxış edənlər gənc əsgərlərə Vətənə, dövlətə və Ali Baş Komandana, hərbi anda sadiq olmalarını, nümunəvi, nizam-intizamlı xidmət etməyi, silah və texnikanın sirlərini dərindən öyrənərək döyüş qabiliyyətlərini daim artırmalarını, komandir-rəis heyətinin əmr və sərəncamlarını dəqiq və vaxtında yerinə yetirmələrini, torpaqlarımızın müdafiəsi naminə döyüşə hər an hazır olmalarını tövsiyə ediblər.
Sonda hərbi qulluqçular təntənəli marşla tribunaların önündən keçiblər.

В Азербайджанской Армии состоялись церемонии принесения присяги – ВИДЕО
В соответствии с планом подготовки на 2024 год, утвержденным министром обороны генерал-полковником Закиром Гасановым, 10 мая в Азербайджанской Армии состоялись церемонии принесения присяги новобранцами.
Сначала под аккомпанемент Военного оркестра состоялся торжественный вынос на плац боевого знамени, после чего мероприятия были объявлены открытыми.
Минутой молчания была почтена память Общенационального лидера азербайджанского народа Гейдара Алиева и шехидов, отдавших жизнь во имя территориальной целостности нашей страны, прозвучал Государственный гимн.
Новобранцы торжественно принесли Военную присягу, клятвенно обещав быть верными Родине.
Выступившие на церемониях пожелали новобранцам быть верными Родине, государству, Верховному Главнокомандующему и Военной клятве, служить образцово, дисциплинированно, глубоко освоить секреты оружия и техники, постоянно совершенствовать свои боевые навыки, точно и своевременно выполнять приказы и распоряжения командно-начальствующего состава, быть готовыми в любой момент к бою во имя защиты наших земель.
В заключение состоялось торжественное шествие военнослужащих перед трибуной.

Under the training plan for 2024, approved by Azerbaijan Defense Minister, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, Military Oath-taking ceremonies for new recruits were held in the Azerbaijan Army on May 10.
The ceremonies were declared open after the Battle Flag was brought to the parade ground in accompaniment of military orchestra.
First the memory of the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, and Shehids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their lives for the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan, was honored with observing a minute of silence. Then the National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed.
The recruits solemnly took the military oath and promised to be loyal to the Motherland.
The event speakers called the new recruits to be loyal to the Motherland, the state and the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, to serve in an exemplary and disciplined manner, to study the secrets of weapons and equipment in detail, and to improve their combat readiness, to fulfill the orders of the commanding staff timely and accurately, to be ready to defend Azerbaijani territories any time.
The ceremonies ended with a solemn march of personnel in front of the grandstand.
