The United States on Wednesday condemned Russian-occupied Abkhazia’s decision to transfer Bichvinta (also known as Pitsunda) seaside residence to the Russian Federation.

“We condemn the illegitimate attempts to transfer land in the occupied Georgian territory of Abkhazia to Russia” a State Department spokesperson told TURAN’s Washington correspondent.
