PM Garibashvili Addresses EU Leaders  Civil Georgia

European Council President Charles Michel says work is going on “day and night” to convince Hungary to back opening accession talks with Ukraine and Moldova and granting Georgia EU candidate status at an EU summit in Brussels this week. The Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim Ben Hamad Al Thani met today in Doha with Dr. Mustafa Barghouti the leader of the Palestinian National Initiative. During the meeting the efforts to achieve immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza were discussed. Both sides emphasized the need to prevent in all possible ways the Israeli plan to conduct ethnic cleansing of Gaza and enforce the transfer of the Palestinian population to Egypt. The needed efforts to facilitate the humanitarian aid to all parts of Gaza were also discussed.
