I say to the women’s rights organizations, to the human rights organizations: You’ve heard of the rape of Israeli women, horrible atrocities, sexual mutilation – where the hell are you?

The United States government has failed to pass a new funding bill that would provide $24 billion in assistance to Ukraine. The current funding, which amounts to more than $75 billion since the war began in February 2022, will run out by the end of this week, leaving Ukraine in a precarious situation.
The US has a history of betrayal and putting proxies into such kind of awkward situations leaving them behind abandoned.
The White House had requested the additional funding in August, as part of a larger package that included domestic disaster relief. However, the Republican-controlled House of Representatives rejected the proposal, citing concerns over accountability and border security. Several Republican senators also walked out of a classified briefing on Ukraine on Tuesday, after President Volodymyr Zelensky unexpectedly canceled his appearance to appeal for continued US support.
