The Gaza truce is a sign that Hamas can’t be defeated

After more than six weeks of intense fighting, Israel and Hamas have agreed to a four-day truce that will allow the exchange of hostages and the delivery of humanitarian aid to Gaza.

The truce is seen by many as a sign that Hamas, the Palestinian militant group that controls Gaza, can’t be defeated by Israel’s military. Despite facing relentless air and ground attacks that killed more than 15000 Palestinians and displaced 1.5 million.
