The bombs struck at around 10 a.m. local time on October 11, partially destroying two apartment buildings and damaging seven other residential blocks and a store, Vadym Liakh, head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration, said, RBC Ukraine reported.

Three of the injured people were hospitalized, while the others received outpatient medical treatment, Liakh reported.

In a separate Russian strike on a private residential area elsewhere in the city, a man born in 1986 was also injured, according to the official.
The attack followed an overnight wave of Russian drone strikes across Ukraine. Ukrainian air defence forces intercepted most of the drones launched from five directions, although some reached their targets, according to a report cited by RBC-Ukraine.
In the central-eastern city of Dnipro, four people were injured in a nighttime drone attack, including two eight-year-old girls. The strike also damaged an apartment building and sparked fires at warehouses, the report said.
