By the decision of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Armen Abazyan has been appointed director of the National Security Service. He was earlier relieved of the post according to a presidential decree.
Acoording to a decision made by the Government during a sitting on November 30, the director and deputies of the National Security Service will be appointed to the post by the Prime Minister, not the President.
