Ukraine’s air raid alert app was hacked on Sunday, briefly displaying false warnings of nuclear and chemical threats. One notification falsely claimed that Russia had deployed its Oreshnik hypersonic missile. Ukraine’s Air Force urged residents to remain calm, saying there was no radiation threat.
Separately, Russia’s Emergencies Ministry reported a massive cyberattack on its mobile app, with both incidents spreading false information to the public.
