Former U.S. President Barack Obama criticised the Trump administration over rising costs and the Iran war, urging voters to use the upcoming election to hold the administration accountable.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday, Obama said the administration’s actions were directly responsible for rising costs and described the war as unnecessary.
Obama called the election “our last best chance” to rein in what he described as the administration’s “foolishness”.
Obama appeared alongside Sherrod Brown, the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate in Ohio, and Amy Acton, the Democratic gubernatorial candidate.
