Sabah have clinched a crucial 2-0 victory over Slavia Prague in their first home game of the UEFA Champions League.
After a fairly evenly contested first half, Kaheem Parris broke the deadlock in the 49th minute with a thunderous strike that left the goalkeeper with no chance.
Despite Slavia Prague creating plenty of chances in the second half and making it a nervy affair for the hosts, a huge defensive error in the 88th minute opened the door for Joy-Lance Mickels to double Sabah’s lead and seal all three points.
A massive confidence boost for Sabah, as they now prepare for their next Champions League fixture at home against Borussia Dortmund.
