U.S. President Donald Trump floated renaming either the Atlantic or Pacific the “Trump Ocean” or “Ocean of the Americas” during a rally in Tennessee. It would add to a growing list of geographic renamings under Trump: the Gulf of Mexico became the “Gulf of America” for U.S. federal use, and Lake Ontario was renamed “Lake America” in August.
